Nice job! This would make for a great emblem for a motorcycle gang. Especially a motorcycle gang of pirates.

The setting of that painting would be a nice place to sit and paint a painting!

I just thought it would be cool to have a painting with a painter painting a painting with the setting of a painting using paint.

Decided to use a different canvas for these next ones.
Well, by canvas, I mean unbranded CD-R discs.
Wasted one to use as a test, and as it turns out, Acrylic paint sticks like it was steel to vinyl plastics.

And yes, both of these still play in a CD player.

I've never heard of anyone doing this. As long as the paint doesn't become gummy while inside a warm optical drive, this could be really, really cool!

Way ahead of you on that concern: The test disc was held in front of the vent on a pellet stove (Which gets hot enough to liquefy most plastic)
The paint remained solid, and still took a lot to scrape it of.

I know that I may have already shared this one, but:

I was able to make a frame for this one, and get it mounted on the wall for my Dad, (Who had requested it)
Unfortunately, this came at the cost of the unfinished painting of the Okanogan Complex fire, Which I turned up this morning, and found had a massive hole punched through it.

But, rather than raise a stink over it, and launch a full on investigation over what effectively amounts to pigment splattered on ripped fabric (Depending on your view of the artwork process), I just made the best out of it, and extracted the inner frame from it, and mounted it in front of the one above.
All n all, I made a good thing out of a bad situation.

Sold: $0 (Was offered a large amount of money, but I declined it in light that I would do things for my own family for free, and would rather it be a gift, than something with any price tag.)

That's one of my favorite Nite landscapes I've seen, and it looks really nice with the frame and the wood paneling behind it. Nice stuff.
