Things from your childhood you didn't actually care for until now, if there is anything like that for you

For me, one of those things is Batman. Back when I was younger and it came on Cartoon Network, I actually avoided it. Wasn't my thing. Nowadays I'm trying my hardest to catch up on the DC animated universe - stuff like Batman The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League and Superman The Animated Series. Is there anything you folks didn't like at much younger times that was readily available that you do now?

Feel free to discuss the opposite as well - things you liked then but not really now.

such things never really came to mind in my childhood,
I cant really say for sure what finally sparked my interest in such things,

Ethnic/exotic foods. I've grown a bit more adventurous with that sort of thing as I've gotten older.

Also, it's silly that I say this, but online message boards. Until I became active on MFGG, I had always regarded most forums as hives of villainy and idiocy, and while that perception has sometimes turned out to be accurate, the Internet world is what introduced me to a feasible way to make games and has improved my knowledge of art and other edifying topics. Plus, I've found enough cool people to balance out all the trolls and troublemakers lurking in the shadows.
Course clear! You got a card.

My dad introduced me to Tenacious D when I was younger, but I never really learned to appreciate (and enjoy) their sense of humor until now.

That works too.

Dear Barney the Dinosaur and Thomas the Tank Engine, you were good to me but I must move on.

One thing I never see myself letting go of is LEGO bricks. I've built many a thing with those things - including a walking walker out of some kid's Indiana Jones set.
